If you like that stinky Midnight Stag and smelling like gasoline, you might embrace the ashtray scent too, Paul. You'll pick up the same number of women with either scent. Zero.
Thank you Bruce....I invite you to listen to the Jack Palance Skin Bracer ad(that is, if you haven't already).
And there he goes AGAIN with the Midnight Stag. . Watch out, I might just buy it with the sole purpose being to have fun with you on here . (Course I HAD it once, but it was hard to enjoy.....wrong time of year). I'd buy 10 Midnight Stag's over an ashtray soap or A.S. any time.
Hey...be my guest and buy it. I can't smell you from here. PS: It's always the wrong time of year for Midnight Stag. Despite what you and Primo @Primotenore believe.
I really like Florida Water, Joe. It does, however, have quite the alcohol burn with it and I do add glycerin and menthol to it. I use it as a body spray occasionally as well and SWMBO likes it, too.
Always love seeing the inlaid brushes your friend makes, Pierpaolo. A prototype soap? Is it a winner? You've inspired me again, Joe. The Reserve Spice will make an appearance tomorrow... Congrats on finishing off the soap as well. Love that Monster brush, Jim! Stirling's samples seem to last forever- even those small splash bottles. A great looking shave, Evan. I'll probably carve myself up tomorrow now after saying this, but I haven't seen a drop of red all week with the OC SS Hawk...
Thanks, Jason. The Stirling samples have been my go to for travel. The only drawback is the need for a bowl and the room it takes up in my dopp bag. I have a couple of the Stirling collapsible bowls now but I have yet to use one. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
good point.the thin gillette blade as we know it came about 1938.the blue blades were thicker.i have always thought the new lc had chatter issues but probably not with the thicker blue blades.the new sc clamps the blade more evenly like a post war tech and closer to the blade edge so a thinner less rigid blade would be fine..i prefer new sc over lc as to me it feels smoother on all pass directions.the lc is fine but the blade is clamped farther away from the edge..the brit long combs were rounded on top to help secure the blade more?..not sure why..never tried a blue blade so far..
i do like the way the schick gives the near perfect shave angle just off the razor face..easier to find than a gillette ..
