  1. I would say that the Max Headroom household is 100% Gentlemen free, but I still have remnants if a Gentleman SS in the "never use - soap bin of iniquity", and I got a sample of bath soap on a recent order that has its far reaching stench invading.
  2. Very nice, Bruce. Glad the GEM blade was a winner. You mentioned a bulk purchase- the best prices in bulk are usually at Connaught Shaving from the UK. I have a Shannon's Soap sample as well. It is fine (Haymarket Vetiver) but I don't believe it is the same base as your 'Rust Belt Reserve'.
  3. Apparently you and my better half are completely aligned when it comes to Gentleman...
  4. @Paul Turner
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain and proceed directly to aisle #13 liberally doused in Clubman
  5. Very nice, Gary. Looks pretty grey there, our smoke has dissipated a bit here. Down to 'Moderate' on the Index. Is yours smoke from the dock, from the US fires, typical Vancouver greyness or a combination of all 3?
  6. Fantastic! Not only will he remain single, but he'll avoid any plumbing clogs in the near future as well...
  7. The closest shave ever? High praise indeed, Jeff. Sorry about the shelf collapsing...I recommend not putting that heavy brush from Evan on the same shelf as @wristwatchb 's Tabac stash in the future.:)
  8. You get the JTSHOSWIISP* award for the day, Bruce.

*jtspartan hint of smarminess wrapped in a shaving post
  9. thank you Bruce..:)

  10. Interesting point, Bill! The Shake Sharp was designed for those carbon steel blades, which is why I believe stacking 2 SS blades results in a delightfully close shave with virtually no blade chatter. When loading a single blade there’s definite chatter. The difference is less pronounced in the metal models of the razor.
  11. thank you Jason,i would say the fires still as sun was forecast today, earlier on a bright yellow circle was apparent in the gray sky like your previous sky pic.it is better out there though less heavy and easier to breathe..:)..rain tomorrow so we'll see ..
  12. Great shave, Jason! Sounds like that Hawk is well under control at this point! I like Florida Water, but can only wear it in SWMBO’s absence, which in these plague days is rare.
  13. Way to go, Paul! Great shave!
  14. I don't count reopened nicks. I say you had a good shave and then some, Evan!

  15. Thanx Joe! Yes it is. Today was shoulders, back and chest and tomorrow will be legs and arms.
  16. Great Hawk shave Evan! I like Lemon Chill, but sold it during a den reduction last year. Orange Chill sounds nice!

  17. I don't smoke so I don't want to smell like I do smoke.
  18. The problem is you two aren't men enough to pull it off. Stick with the fru-fru scents.
  19. Tabac?
  20. don't skip leg day..;)
