Great shave and congrats on finishing the G7DC Jeff! I find that I can look socially acceptable with 36 hrs between straight shaves.

Thank you Gary...y'know, it brought me back to using this in my teeen-years, when I was just beginning shaving. Course then it was a lot easier than now. But same result-got all the astroturf, and smelled manly. . How are you?

Great shave, and great summary, Gary! Glad you developed an operational appreciation For the razor despite what you feel are it’s aesthetic shortcomings. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I’ll close with my signature line “de gustibus non disputandum”, loosely translated ‘of taste there can be no dispute’ and yes that would even include Tabac and the Veg , @wristwatchb @Primotenore . You smoked us, let me say that(oh, I just DID). Tampa Bay got into the finals, eh? What a weird "off-season". I look forward to the draft in early October.

 

Oh ok...so it isn't in here. That's a great thing, though.

 

Wonderful finish to this focus. I am looking forward to mixing it up again, however, I did not mind the consistency.

 

I’m going to have to see if I get the same result from the Riga Razor tomorrow. I plan on shaving with it through the weekend, just because I hate feeling any level of stubble, even roughness, which is what allowed for my two pass shave this morning. I just may have to settle for daily two pass mug shaves as long as I can maintain my desired velveteen state!

 

thank you Jeff.i say ugly in jest,they are cool in their own way and an iconic razor.i love the three different periods the E,G,and hydro represent..they definitely kept gillette on their toes.i will do a mini focus using all three in the future to define their differences and advantages.have a great weekend my friend..

That was a great finale! Gary! I won't be done with my G7DC until Sunday! It will have taken my nine days to finish 7 shaves. I normally would take 10 to 11, sometines 12 days to finish 7. Have a great day Gary!
