    Shavette Focus Shave # 51

    Parker SRX Shavette
Feather Hi-Stainless Platinum Coated Blade (1)
    Kent BK8 Silvertip Badger Brush
Mike's Natural Soaps Hungarian Lavender Soap
    Alum
    Thayers Unscented Witch Hazel
    Unrefined Shea Butter
    Almond Oil
Jeeves of Hudson Street Blood on Steel aftershave

Same everything, two passes, a few touch-ups, and no boo-boos resulted in a successful whisker conquest and a near-BBS mug! I'm having some success with new stretches and cross strokes on my chin. This is an area that I hope to improve with this focus.

    Grace and Peace.

I've been reading a lot about chin-stretching, never tried it.

Well done with your focus, Gary! Schick injectors are fabulous tools. I would gladly recommend one of them to anyone that wants to get into traditional shaving. If you can't get an easy, great shave from an injector, you probably won't get one from any traditional gear. The only downside to injectors is blade availability. Most every pharmacy carries DE blades, and sometimes GEM blades. Not so much the case with injector blades.
But since you think they're so damn ugly, I'll be happy to take that "66" off your hands. :happy102:

Short of the garden hose, I cleared the breach; lather was starting to get nice 'n shiny; dipped the entire knot in the water and evidently did not shake it out enough. It's barely hanging on in this photo.

A soap by Barrister & Mann that smells like a campfire. At least it's supposed to...kind of. From what I read about the scent, it smells more like you rolled in the ashes of a campfire once they were cool enough.
