  1. Very nice picture, born and lived in Ohio. Seeing it in the rear view mirror would make my day, if I was in Texas.
    Thanks Blair!

  3. Despite the cut, that's a nice shave Jim! I am glad that beautiful brush is working better for you. Great picture and gear like always. Have a great day, Jim!

  4. After a few years of traditional shaving, I figured out I wasn't using enough aftershave to get the full effect. I now apply a double splash after each shave and whenever I feel like it during the day. The scent usually fades pretty quickly despite the amount I (over)apply, and I really enjoy the cooling effect of the menthol.

I'm finally starting to use up some aftershaves and am restocking a few favorites. I added more Fine L'Orange Noir & Fine Platinum to the den this weekend. I'll eventually add more Alt-Innsbruck, eventually another Bay Rum (currently have CC), and maybe even a Sandalwood (considering TOBS). That'll be my "Top 5" aftershaves and should provide plenty of variety for this old hillbilly.

  5. Sorry, about the nasty opening on your lip, Paul. Soap that smells like pine tar wouldn't interest me.

  7. Great going Jeff!

That is some high fallutin verbiage that I'm liberally interpreting as... Great safety razor shaves may be a more difficult accomplishment than that of the open edge.

What scope setup are you using? You get great pictures. I have a cheap USB setup, that gives cheap USB results.

  9. Wonderful shave Jeff! I always have said, it's your shave, do it your way! You have found what works for you and that's one of the joy's of straight shaving.

  10. Oh....it’s about to be! I’m 2/3 packed. 10 minutes before the rain starts I’m rolling!

  12. Congratulations on the new toys, Terry! You had an excellent above-the-shoulder shave!
  13. Thanks, Joe. Bic Chrome platinums are my favourites, but Voskhods are still very good.
It's not a bad razor, but i wouldn't use it regularly.
