    I anticipate I'll be smiling like ol Alfred with use of my Neumanns....it'll be in the fall, but definitely before Christmas, maybe even before Thanksgiving. Actually, they'll be two aftershaves, not soaps.

    Tallow + Steel Kyoto~~Simpson Emperor 3~~Detroit Cut. Co. "National"
    What worked yesterday, should work today...and it did.
    Lovely Asian citrus lather from the Kyoto.
    While the soap is not particularly pretty to look at in the tub, the created lather is bright-white.

    Excellent slickness and protection, allows for multiple,     sweeping strokes from the blade.
    I have developed a routine with the straight, basically cleaning the edges up on my face;
    be they around the goatee or the sideburns.
    Neck-work remains similar and results are similar.
    No blood-letting of any sort.
    Cleaned the residual soap off with some witch hazel.
    Not pictured, is my scent of choice:
    Santa Maria Novella Nostalgia.    ​

    Well, the "East Coast Man with a West Coast Frame Of Mind" bounced back in fine fashion with his shave this morning(talkinabout myself). A second go with the Central Texas Soaps(Gramps Barbershop)and Clubman. All went real well. 0:40 to load the Stoylin brush(Pro-Handle). Took time sweeping the brush across the face and neck(course the latter is well-known as Cactus Nation). I was very careful around the area of the yesterday's cut. For a second, I thought it was coming back, but additional soap calmed it down. This was another one of my "Boy, do I need that second pass" shaves, as I knew I'd missed a few areas during the first. No cuts, no Knicks...always a good sign :). Clubman A.S. to finish again.Great way to begin the week. Top Of The World Excellent
