Followed up my G7DC with the Stirling 'Aggressive' DE head that I actually planned for the focus.
I'm glad I went with the Gillette New SC, it was beneficial.
I used the SC handle...... because I bought a razor without one.....................

..... that is just plain dumb......... Who does that anyhow?
I've shaved with adjustables wide open and like it. Many times I've considered the Muhle R41 and even looked for the 'fearsome' 2011 model. I think I'm cured. This tool has a nice feel. I think next time I'm shopping, I'll get the thing it's very own handle, probably a bit longer.
I used the Astra on (5) from my G7DC. Usually I'd start a new tool with a new blade. I've heard many say that aggressive tools don't need the fresh sharp steel like mild stuff does. This seems to follow that logic. I'll try a 'one & done' blade next.
Normal pattern delivered the coveted CMHVVBBS Level 5

result easily first time out, so I won't do an extended focus.
Hmmm, Aggressive razor scores bigly first time out.
Riding the cap is a good fallback reflex here.

Stirling Duke is nice. Description; A masculine, spicy and subtly floral blend of ginger, cardamom, cedarwood, nutmeg, rose, amber, and tonka. Duke is a beautiful mixture of tradition and modern
Not one you will see me used under a mask though..
