  3. Ok...ok....
This may not seem like a post for shaving, but it is if you read to the bottom.
I need to wear certain socks because of a condition I have with blood clots.
Insurance does not help on them either.
My legs aren't fat or disfigured, they look pretty normal.

What you see the mailman delivered today was over $100 worth of socks.
Down from almost $230 last time I bought 4.
So if you see that expensive razor, brush or soap. Think that is way to much money for shaving stuff.
Just remember this post and go ahead and enjoy those expensive goodies.
    Before it's to late.....
    Enjoy!

I have spent over $800 on socks the last few years, probably closer to $1000. I got these because they run about 1/2 the price and they work better too.
They eventually wear out, so I have to replace them.
Oh boy are they ever stylish too...lol.
I don't wear cutoffs or shorts anymore.
I look like someone out of a Monty Python skit if I do.

The pictures don't do the finish justice.
    I like the metallic finish.
They are loaded and ready for the morning shave.

  19. Massive Monday mail call. In the first photo from left to right: 1970 gold plated Gillette Super Adjustable aka Black Beauty, 2 Gillette Ball End Techs I got in a trade, a Kewtie ladies razor with case from the 1940’s (yes this was a real thing. Back then marketers thought what women needed was a teeny tiny razor to shave with) and 25 NOS Gillette Spoiler blades. The rest of my photos are of one of the holy grails in wet shaving; the Eclipse Red Ring razor. This is the BB model. The Eclipse Red Ring was made in Sheffield, England from 1932-1940; this model was made later in the razor’s life as it has the Art Deco solar eclipse on the head. This is a very notable razor for a number of reasons. It has a magnet in the base to pick up dropped blades, it has a hybrid open & closed comb guard and was the earliest adjustable razor made. 05BB2AB6-1E86-4BD9-9D8B-6A9A9CAAED7F.jpeg 2EC6883F-72AB-4AA0-9180-BA681DCB37AF.jpeg EA897EA2-F523-405E-A4F5-7FED302CD0A3.jpeg A2A84107-7291-4EBD-89E1-1061E6EE4801.jpeg 2C164812-5FAB-4FF1-9B45-2842AA173815.jpeg
  20. I'm the proud owner of a beautifully crafted @MrEE anodized aluminum brush handle with a bead blasted finish. It is drilled for a 30 mm knot, and I haven't decided what to use. I'm calling it the Danger Brush as a humorous reference to my CT. A big shout out to Evan for his generosity and exceptional talent!
