Thanks Charlie. I'll let someone else have it. No Piggly, eh? That put me over the top. Off to do more Physical Therapy for Balance&Gait.
I never have gotten a flu shot. However, I will get one next month because it is free with Medicare. I figure that I will take this precaution so that if I get C-19, then I don't need the flu to complicate matters. Under normal circumstances, I probably would continue to be without the flu shot.
SEptember Focus Turtleship Shave Co. Patchouli~~Simpson PJ3~~2011 Mühle R41/Feather~~Santa Maria Novella Patchouli I abandoned the SE focus this morning, because I just felt like it. But I promised I only used a single edge...at a time. Also ditched the bowl in lieu of a face lathering. The Persian Jar makes that a real pleasure. Turtleship Shave Co. is not a hard soap, so picking up product present no issues. This picture is what was left in the knot after two passes. The R41 was loaded with a twice-used Feather blade, so I knew I was in for the smoothest shave in the life of this blade. No issues getting a really great shave sans blood. Finished with the Italian Santa Maria Novella Patchouli aftershave. Most excellent juice.
Wow, Daniel!! At least you gave yourself a nick in style! Congrats on the single ring, and props to Jason. It's a looker, fo sho. Jeff @jgreenepa is going to envy your use of Tabac too.
Thanks Joseph! I paid under 30 dollars for it on Flea Bay and it came shave ready. These vintage straight razors are the bomb. They may not be gorgeous, but they are terrific shavers.
From what I have read, most masks do not offer protection to the wearer. Rather, they offer some protection to others by limiting the spread of small droplets. I have read that the bandana-type masks are not recommended as they don't offer the same protection. My Bride had to wear an N95 mask for awhile after her transplant. If worn properly, it was supposed to provide her with some protection. That's a pretty heavy mask in comparison to what most people are wearing. We sat in the living room with some friends who we later learned both had COVID-19. We were there for about an hour and a half. We were socially distant, wore masks, and cleaned our hands after we left. Neither of us got sick. I'm a firm believer that the simple precautions we've been told to follow work. (Yeah, we made a dumb mistake. Now we only visit with friends outside or in a garage where we can raise the door for good air flow.)
