    Today for me first use of the sample, but I'm a little disappointed.
    I had high expectations, but I feel this soap has just a nice scent.

    Joe, thanks for asking. We're doing great. We're mostly caught up around the house, enjoying the beautiful fall weather, and we're planning to visit a dear aunt (outside) this afternoon.

    My Bride's appetite and energy levels are almost back to normal. She fixed biscuits and gravy for us this morning. I knew that wasn't on my diet, but I ate some just to encourage her. :)

    I purchased a disco Shavemac brush w/knot in a BST. It's a 26mm 2 band badger (doesn't appear to be SHD). An instant favorite.

    A badger knot I've purchased that's a favorite for one of Jason's handles was an Envy Shave knot 28mm. It's very nice as well.

    I am ashamed to say I shaved with an electric razor last night, just cuz I had not used one in so long.

    Two electric shavers among the many I've had can shave as close as a blade, truly. I still have them.
    BTW, an Electric Shaver pre shave like Lectric Shave is a must to get a good close yet low irritation shave from an electric.

    Andis Profoil Lithium. Cheap to buy and replacement blades/foils are cheap. Fav of barbers for "fades." Some irritation to me, esp if no Lectric Shave.
    Panasonic ARC 5. Close and nearly irritation free, but $$$$ to buy and replacement blades & foils also are $$$$..

    I don't stick with them as when they dull just a bit, it annoys me in my obsessive requirement for BBS. As I usually shave before bed, why???

    Sometimes for an after the fact touch up of a DE missed spot, these come into play

    Excellent shave Evan. Black Beard is an excellent scent. Additionally, I manage to get great lathers with the WSP soaps that I have, Black Beard and Black Amber Vanille (Rustic Formula).
