A new perfect shave combo with the RR BBS
Italian Noxema pre shave (as no shower before)
    ARKO!
    RR BBS
    Bic Platinum
    Thayers.

It seems anything less sharp than GSB does not do it. So anything GSB and short of Feather should be good I think.

Gee, I am glad I try to live a simple life. I will stick to my 7-11 coffee.

Such a simple considerate thing to do to protect your family, friends, community, society and fellow man,. I don't get the objections. It only works well if we all do it. Look at pictures of 1918 spanish flu pandemic. Everyone knew how to suck it up when needed then, they all wore masks.

Love thy neighbour, wear a mask.

Cuisinart automatic drip, Melitta #4 cone filter, no name burr grinder set pretty coarse, filtered water and Intelligentsia coffee.

Been drinking Intelligentsia coffee for the last two years. Came across it at a little breakfast place a couple of blocks from the Superdome in New Orleans. Best coffee I've had so far. Full flavored and no bitterness. Pricey but I'm worth it.

Very nice shave, Joseph. I don't buy WSP because of their tins. I want enough room while I load a brush so that spillage is negligible.

The soap should be gone before the end of the month. With a little luck it will be dusted before then. I will keep you in mind on the General.

Great shave report and photo Joseph. Swati, gave me some WSP Tobacco batch soap that I will try soon. I wonder how it compares to the Asylum version.

    Great coffee write ups.
Water to coffee ratio is absolute key.

For me the AeroPress offers 2 advantages.

    1) Heavy filter. Probably the same stuff used by Chemex
    2) absolute control of extraction time. The longer the extraction time, the more potential for bitterness.

My brother and his wife recently went Keto. Not sure if related, but she no longer enjoyed her morning coffee. When they were up a few weeks back for me to stuff them with brisket, she asked all about the coffee I served. Buy the end of the week, a clone of my setup resided at their place. All they use now.

$25 for the AeroPress, $70 for the grinder.

Cool! Which side of Superdome? I'm guessing it wasn't on the river/bridge side. There's uh, well, all depends on which way you walk..... :scared003: :lyrtuy5:

Intelligentsia...looks interesting. They are really proud of them beans!

Same here. I've found Kerrygold's Butter and Heavy Whipping Cream mostly cured the sweet craving, although still indulge once a week or so.

Some look into/go with Bullet Proof Coffee's version, mine's the poor man's version.

Being a Colorado native I have a terrible sense of direction if I don't have the mountains as a reference. The diner is called Willa Jean's. Ok food but wonderful coffee.

Gave the Gem jr another run today. A little bit left on the upper neck after 3 easy passes, but that is being pretty picky. Do I enjoy using GEM style razors as much as some others? Probably not, but they are a nice change of pace. That's why it is a hobby.
I know the DBS has lots of fans, but I'm a solid 'meh' with it. A pleasant, aquatic (you usually have to pay for this level of description:happy088:) scent that I just don't find that memorable. That's why samples are made, I suppose.
    Have a great day all!
