This week I have been using a travel shave setup while staying at my Mom's house in Alabama. She's not in the best of health and I needed to be there to help her and my stepdad with everything going on with them. My stepdad has had an awful 12 straight days of poor health which started with a fall on a steep embankment in the yard but has now included 2 ER visits, evidence of multiple strokes, a kidney infection, excess fluid around the brain, sepsis, an abscess on his spine causing severe pain throughout the body and finally surgery (today). The good news is that surgery was a success and he is recovering in the ICU tonight. The doctor said he will have 12 weeks of recovery, so I 'll be traveling to help out as much as I can for the foreseeable future.
I did have to make a trip to the local Piggly Wiggly to pick up some groceries for us. The folks there were as friendly as ever.

While I was in there, I also picked up some Schick Injector blades and an extra puck of Williams Mug soap.
They still have their generic DE blades for sale, but the GEM SE blades were out of stock. I also saw a new scent of Old Spice aftershave on the shelf: Pure Sport. I'll probably buy it next week when I go back there.
I'm back at home in the ATL tonight so I can attend my son's Marching Band Senior Night ceremony tomorrow during the football game's halftime. He stayed at home this week so he could go to band practice and my daughter went with me to Alabama. This was one time "virtual school" came in handy so she didn't miss any class or assignments while at Grandma's house.
Traveling with me in my dopp bag was a La Toja shave setup. Each morning's shave was a comfortable 2 passer that started the day on the right foot.
