    Andrew, I had the best experience with MWF by grating it up and pressing it into a shave stick. I face lather, and it lathered fine once I did that. That told me that I hadn't been loading the brush sufficiently when I was loading from the puck. If you want to try a different approach, rub the puck on your face like a shave stick and see if that helps. You'll get there. :)
