No! Don't feel bad. She has a toy shaving brush and I will make her a makeup brush. Part of me has wanted to keep every brush I have given away, but seeing them being used by someone else is even better.

Also, I just asked her about it and she just shrugged her shoulders and said, "oh well" :)

She's a fun and easy going kid.

    Razor: 1912 style EverReady
    Blade: GEM Stainless
    Brush: SilverTip Badger X3 Clone
    SS: Palmolive

I am little tired of SE razors but I have tonsay the 1912 EverReady is cool. I was getting my shower in while a brush was in my analyzing tank. So my mind was on other things. However the EverReady was kind. 2 pass DFS very near BBS.

Again I can see why some people prefer the GEM style razors. The stiff blade gives a lot of feedback.

BTW here's how the handle turned out. This is a makeup brush for my Grandmother. Basically I just use a 20mm knot.

Crazy past couple days. While running errands for a 3 day event weekend on Thursday morning, The Beast is no longer a Beast. Puked a torque converter. Stranded me 5 hours waiting on a tow and getting to a reliable shop. Ugh. Luckily, with lots of scrambling, I was able to get to the event over 24 hours late. Days behind on reading along....so drive by posting it is.

    Schick Proline B-30

Camping shave. 2 full passes on 72 hours growth. Hadn’t gone this long between shaves in years. Still BBS- results with nothing to report. Figured I better get in one or two SE safety razor shaves for SE September. Here’s number one, the other tomorrow.

Image is from Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. ~30 miles west of Tulsa. Cool historical track. Very picturesque.

Hope everyone’s Saturday is going well!

Yes they are Andrew. Thank you. Check out the one below, a collaboration between Leo Frilot and Rod George. It was a birthday gift I had made for my brother.

Beautiful shave Jim. I will be retiring after this school year at age 62. I have been eligible to retire for the last 5 years. Yes, it is comfortable knowing that I can go at any time. When the time is right, you will now. Excellent

Thank you Clint. It was a productive day. Accomplished everything I had planned including a workout. The missus took a dip in the pool, so she is happy. The pool will be closed on Tuesday. Now to make some strip steaks on the BBQ.
