Creed Silver Mountain Water introduced in 1995, and the pieces come together. I had a roommate in college that wore it. Funny how scent triggers memories. He was famous for having huge fights with his fiance for being Mr Fix-it. We finally got him to just listen while she was venting and say "My love, I know you're nervous. I'm nervous too. This is huge, but no matter what, I'm going to love you forever." Well, big passionate kiss. She's VERY happy and in a really good mood. Out of breath from her very approving response, he says, "WOW, it worked!" To which she asks, "What worked?"...frozen in the headlights he mumbles, "Evan told me to say that."...And huge fight. Which is about the time I got home. Awkward silence when I walked in. Michelle looked at him. Walked over and gave me a big kiss… VERY AWKWARD, and says, “You are amazing. Steve is an IDIOT!” as she stormed out. They're still married 20 years later so I guess they figured it out. (The names have been changed to protect me from the innocent.)
Marvelous shave, Bruce! I've never tried to stretch a GEM PTFE for 20 shaves. I use mine 5-6 times but I could see them being used longer.
I will take a look next time I am in special store. Since it is a sports drink I can take on a bike ride.
Another drop in posting: TGIF shave: Koraat 14 2.0 double bellied hollow. If anyone has some Mikey Lee Soapworks Druken Goat you want to get rid of let me know. I use this sparingly as I do not have a back up but it is the real deal. The shave..... epic. Saturday shave: Koraat 7/8 with a 3/4 grind. Added some liquid lanolin to the MdC for that nice post shave feel..... results epic. Two epic shaves in a row and both with Koraat blades. Sunday Shave: Brian Brown 7/8 with a half hollow grind. Changed out the CF lime for Cedarwood and Sandwood, which means it is fall. An excellent shave for a relaxing Sunday.
Wise words. Took me awhile to figure out that my job is sometimes just to listen. This was helpful too:
Thanks, Bruce. The ETHOS is a very nice soap. The lavender is the best I have ever tried and I have had many. The picture doesn't do the Astor justice.
