    The one I used today is gold plated. I've avoided calculating how much it really cost me. I purchased the steel 3 years ago for making suppressor baffles and the gold I purchased last year.

    Did I ever share the picture I took of my daughter 3 years ago?

    I am looking into gold plating aluminum. If I can master it, and I am sure I can, I'll offer gold plated brushes to a few people at cost. The steel was way too much work.

    So if you want a gold plated brush, be patient. I'm expiramenting in that direction.
