  2. Beautiful find Jeff. Yes, Glen is an advocate for taping the spine. Any of the videos of him show him taping the spine.

  5. Yeah he was not happy, but hey, I’m never going to sell it. The bevel is awesome and the shave buttery smooth. Glen’s working on restoring a cast steel Boker of mine. It’ll be fun to compare the edge to the ones I’ve been building.
  6. Thank you Joe....returning to same tomorrow(but different brush).

  9. Wouldn’t that be more of a physics phenomenon, change of direction and force needed to bring the soap up from the bottom?

  10. Hey fellas, I just did some more "testing" with the 'New look Lumberjack"...I used today's brush and did a quick load.....came up as it would in any soap . I just had to try to observe if it would be any different. Course the soap LOOKS a little different now, but it should be no issue for tomorrow morning (P.S. I didn't shave tonight, just wanted to experiment some).
  11. I would suppose so Joe....Science was never my friend through school&college. Got a D in Biology, and never took Chemistry and Physics.

  14. Tobacco vanilla or Tobacco leather....haven’t found one I dislike yet, and with a label like Cavendish, it better be good. Thanks Paul!

    Thank you Clint!

    Sincerely appreciated Joe!

Thanks for the kind words and thoughts Jeff. It’s been a few rough days for sure. Slowing down a little, and I’m ready for that!

    Thanks Gary! :eatdrink047:

  18. Good morning, gents. Just came back home from the MRI, and decided to do a quick shave. IMG_20200930_102830_773.jpg
I used the canned stuff, it works well for me. At least this one and the Proraso. Slim twist is a very easy razor to use on autopilot, no problems at all. Finished off with the Hega Upsala, i quite like it and it's very inexpensive. Had to grab a bottle of it and the original version too, when i went to Kärkkäinen a few months back.

    Have a great day all!
  19. The scales are box elder burl, look much better in real life than my pic.
