Nice combination Daniel! Proraso shave foam is not bad at all. Haven't tried the Gillette version lately....but if you're making the comparison....hmm. That 337 and Puma are very cool Joe! Fun sounding setup/combo.
Thanks, Clint! Thank you, Jeff! Thanks, Bruce! It went well, it's just slightly uncomfortable, but nothing too bad. Thanks, Blair! The Proraso is slightly better, but the Gillette works well if your face is wet enough. Don't know about the US version though.
SEptember Focus Santa Maria Novella~~Simpson Emperor 3~~Barbasol FH/Wizamet Super Iridium~~Floïd Blue Time to finish up SEptember and this shave was a fantastic finale. Santa Maria Novella is such an amazing product---indeed, the entire SMN line reeks of quality. The Crema da Barba has a similar consistency to Proraso in the green tub, but, IMO, supersedes that cream by a kountry kilometer. The scent is a light eucalyptus mixed with SMN's renowned Tobacco Toscano. The results are spectacular. Lather creation is easy; slickness is superior; and post-shave is above-average. New Wizamet in the Barbasol FH razor. What a beast this tool is. Very heavy. It's like shaving with a girder, yet it's fairly simple to balance and keep an angle. Three passes and great results. Floïd Blue for the win.
Fine finish for September-a repeat of yesterday but for the brush. 0:35 to load the Stoylin Pro-Handle(a big fella). As I was doing the first pass, I went back for another load(only for 0;05 or so, thus I'll say 0:40 in all). Two Knicks on the first pass, one at the northwest border of Cactus Nation, the other right at the lip area, opposite side). Interestingly, as I kept shaving(the rest of the 1st pass, and the 2nd), the lip Knick disappeared, but the Nation one stayed. I gave a little more effort to the astroturf I missed yesterday(Cactus Nation just under the jawline, right side). Porcupine Alley looks good. AgadirMen A.S. for the close again. The fellas at Agadir certainly do know their Wood(Oud)scent for their products. Most Excellent for today(the 2 Knicks).
Fantastic shave (love the PILS, BTW) and monthly wrap up, Clint. Thanks for the kind words. It's great to be back. Have a good day, my friend.
Thank you Charlie. I am really enjoying the PILS razor. The PILS has been on my list for years so I am glad I was able to snag one at a great price.
