Normally yes. As she will not be using this. I actually may have a choice. Unfortunately I cannot decide.

Both lol awesome, but the shorter handle is screaming “pick me, pick me”.

2 for 2 and 1-1/2for one as @BBS is playing the wife game on me.

On the handle I'd go with which one is easier grip especially when painting your face.

That is why I prefer #2. My wife was holding them and she liked #1 for the feel in her hand.

It will be the one I can fit in the case I suppose.

There is also what is the chance women will be using this thing besides your wife factor to consider. The answer is give her brush #1 and put #2 in the set. This way if she does use the set just give it to her without the brush in it.

I kinda prefer 2. A bit less conventional looking. Both are sweet.

So after cornering my family and showing them everything and making them fondle the brushes. We came to the conclusion that brush #1 will go with this set. They all preferred how brush 1 felt. Also it looks better as a set.

I think I will make another set for my son. I will try to match the other handles to brush #2

I now have all 7 blades. I will be busy this weekend honing. Just waiting for the knot. TGN is slow as molasses in shipping. Ordered 28th shipping label printed but nothing given to USPS yet.

After looking at the handles all together the 1st one I have to agree does go better aesthetically with the other handles.

As a set, I also think handle #1 looks better.

I love the blade holder !!!

Here is my New Fox Set all complete. I am on furlough next week so I will hone all the blades.
