SOTD 7/22/20 It's Zazor/Zazen Time!! Lather: K Shave Worx Zazen soap Razor: The Legendary Zazor Blade: Astra SP Post: K Shave Worx Zazen splash I was way overdue for a Zazor shave. Each time I use it, I'm reminded what a pleasure it is to use. The K Shave Worx Zazen performed well as always, and paired well with the Zazor to complete the Eastern theme of the shave.
When I discovered the Zazor, I already had the Razorine. https://i.imgur.com/LB4iqwD.jpg As an italian project, with the same geometry of Daune, all made of brass, I love it. But I like much more the light ones ...
I completely agree. I love the look of Razorine. It is a very elegant design. But as for shaving, I much prefer the lighter weight and better weight balance of the Zazor.
6/8 Shell frameback, testing out the new stone posted in the other threads. Like shaving with your index finger.

I have one as well, and they are excellent!! It's actually modeled after the Kai Captain Razor. It's probably one of the most forgiving half-DE shavettes I've used. They are tricky to load at first, but easy once you get the hang of it. They cost anywhere between $10-15 on Aliexpress, and it is money well spent.
@feeltheburn it's not bad. I also have an universal shavette I like that more. It js more like a straight razor. It is easier to cut yourself with a shavette then with a straight razor.
For the first time since Jimmy Carter was president, I did something new shaving. I shaved with a shavette. A Tuckmar with half a DE blade. I think I should have used something different, but it was what I had. Shave was not bad, one weeper that I do not know from where. Soap gave good cushioning and no burn from the Old Spice
Just received my Parker SRX today, I’m still waiting for a package with my brush and bowl to get started This will be my first ever experience with traditional shaving and I plan to master this damn shavette like a pro in the mid to long term There will probably be painful moments but I’m ready to face them
