Thanks Gary! You've been parading some beautiful Vintage gear over the past few weeks. I'd really enjoy seeing a family photo sometime.
Ruggero Leoncavallo. He actually wrote a part for my wife's grandfather. His most famous aria, sung by one of my all-time favorite tenors, Mario del Monaco. AND...this has to be seen to be believed. They don't make 'em like this anymore. You have to watch it to the very end.
A very unique piece, regardless, Joseph. Very cool. Our hallway bench is a reproduction of a Greene and Greene piece. Almost 20 years ago I was flipping through an Arts&crafts furniture book and my wife commented that she really liked this bench. I said ‘There is no way I’m making that. Look at all those curved angles and forms...forget it” . She said please...I said No way... Here it is, and I’m still married...
That's some history there, Joseph! Incredible performances! Is the character shaving in the second video clip?
October 2nd Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - SS, Star Jelly, AS&C - John Frum Evan’s @MrEE Aluminum Handle w/Simpson T2 J3Customs Kamisori Late check in. Mid day shave before heading out for the weekend’s event. Everything worked as expected, awesome lather from the PAA CK-6 formula and Evan’s awesome green machine. 2.5 passes with BBS- results, no crimson or irritation. Quick Star Jelly for a great face feel, matching AS&C John Frum formula. Little spicy, little sweet. At least I smelled good for the 4 hour drive. Hope everyone had a great day! Will catch up as I can over a working weekend.
so earlier today I bought a bottle of some creed aventus ( ended up settling and buying it online, it's cheaper that way) but before, I was inside a few fragrance shops, like perfumania for an example . noticed they had some tobbac products and tobbac aftershave and cologne, they had a few other brut products that were pretty intersting. This might be a new one stop shave shop for me.... not for a while though, not after the pricing of creed.
