This is the Sweet Daddy served up by a diner a few years back in my neck of the woods.

20 oz of beef, 6 slices of cheese and a full day of recovery.

Yeah, I know. They're a bit light on the fries. I guess that leaves room for desert.
  10. awesome ..there is a burger shack here with one called Ernie's mile high..
download (1).jpg 0_00_reference.jpg fabulous..it and a bag of buns and you are set..the other was one called a Fat Albert .it was the size of a dinner plate with specially made bun..you got the next one free if you finished it..sadly the resteraunt is long closed..

  12. I find a steel head on an aluminum handle a bit top heavy. The T handle i have is lighter than steel but still feels balanced.

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower / Original Source ~ Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Simple ~ Sensitive Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
    Brush: Anbbas Boar.
    Face Lather.
Frankensoap : Pears Transparent bar Soap + Wilkinson Sword Soap bowl.
    Blade: Personna Gem PTFE. (2)
    Razor: Ever Ready 1912. (US)

    Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./David Beckham ~ Instinct ASL./ Boots ~ Moisturising Lotion.

    A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

My homemade Frankensoap concoction provided good slick protective lather for the shave leaving a good post shave feel.
A good acceptable shaving soap ok it's not in the same league as a traditionally made shaving soap but i didn't expect it to be.Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Boots ~ Moisturising Lotion.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy you Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

  16. Hello gents
Long time no see. A nice 6am shave here to wipe away 5 days growth before I scratched my face of from the itchy feeling.
Broke out the vintage Williams for this task. Lathered up with the brush given to me by @jtspartan (I have used this brush exclusively for every shave since I knotted it). Took the first pass with the MMOC followed by the Rockwell 6c for the second pass on #6 ( that's setting 9 upside down on this razor). A good water rinse then a splash of witch hazel and a good heaping of Aqua velva blue as a way of honoring my father as I was thinking of him this morning. Hope everyone is doing well and sorry for not being around much lately. Enjoy your day!!!

  18. Bustelo is fabulous ground coffee, which I drank for decades, Blair! My current SWMBO is a coffee hound and only drinks freshly ground beans from her ridiculously expensive coffee grinder. These days it’s Ethiopian Yrgacheffe beans. She always switching to a new arabica bean every month or so. It’s good coffee, but I do miss my Bustelo! You’ve inspired me to go out a buy some. :bounce015:

  19. Beautiful photo, Jason! I really like Lime soaps, particularly Castle Forbes Lime that reminds our fearless moderator of Lestoil (@Primotenore :p) which I’ve never smelled. Mantic59, in fact, proclaimed Castle Forbes his favorite Lime shaving cream as well, in a Sharpologist summary, instead identifying Truefitt &Hill Lime Cream as the Lestoil Of Limes! Regardless, I’ve yet to find a shave cream to match Nancy Boy Signature in glide, richness of lather AND post-shave skin feel. I really like the lighting in your photos which you attribute to poor technique. I wish I could borrow some of that poor technique.
