    Nice setup Doug. That is a monster of a brush knot. I have two 24mm flat tops and they feel like 30mm knots.

    Gem Contour II mk1, gem stainless ptfe blade, shave 4

    First shave witb a mk1 Contour II, they came in 3 makes I know of and I'll be using all 3 in a row to see if there is any differences. Shave was mild and came in a little bit less close than the prior razor I used which was a gold plated Gem Push Button.

    Here are the 3 styles of Contour II razors
    mk1 on the left
    mk2 in the middle
    mk3 on the right

    I don't anticipate there being any differences between the mk2 and mk3 but the mk1 might be different from the others. Next shave will tell that much.
