  1. Very nice shave, Andrew! Haslinger makes excellent soaps, especially for the price.

  10. Great OT shave, Andrew! No need to even mention the BBS acronym, we all assume it’s the case now!

  11. Beautiful razor and brush combo, Evan. Prayers for your sweet Grandmother. Enjoy the special time with her.

I gave my Danger handle a quick wash and rinse today prior to sending it off for Jayaruh knot and hot rod service. The bead blast finish provides perfect gripping ability. I wouldn't want the finish to be any rougher or smoother - you nailed it, IMO. Despite its weight and size (relatively large diameter and reduced height compared to most handles), it did not feel the least bit slippery. I think it's gonna be a real Tabac whipper-upper with the SHD two-band knot. And the attention to detail is second to none, Evan. Thank you again, my friend.

  12. Oh, they’re around and being used. Not so many 17th century razors, but definitely 18th century. I see them being used on the dedicated straight razor forums.

Well...today was not 100% BBS because I intentionally left my lower neck with some fine grit sandpaper feel, avoiding potential irritation.
