Two days of growth, same old gear, including a war-torn Mike's tin, 2+ passes, and near BBS results. The LE brush did a stellar job with the Mike's soap. Inspired by
@Primotenore, I took extra time to make nice, almost drippy, slick lather. This inexpensive knot has changed my opinion of synthetics in general. I like the combination of its soft tips and firm backbone. I also like that you can give it a quick dip in warm water, and it is ready to go. The handle shape feels good in my hand. Even though it is smooth, it's easy to grip.
The only downside to today's shave is that I worked my neck a bit too much with buffing and J-hooks, and I feel some minor after-effects. It's not bad and no one else but me and you know about it.

We're having postcard weather here in the Bluegrass, and I'm nice and smooth for an evening porch visit with dear friends we haven't seen since last year.
I hope to work in some OC shaves later this month. I'm itchin' to bring out my NEW LC or SC.
And I found a
watch for
@b1hart that is easy to set.
Grace and Peace.
