ArKO Stick, no mug needed. Just apply straight to face.
Any creams can be applied to the face, or brush, then lather away.

While it is far from old school, I find my 3D-printed cup to perform better than any other cups because a 3D-printed surface is not smooth, it is slightly textured, and it helps a lot in lather building. So, for a good 3D-printed cup, either design one yourself (I did) or go to places like thingiverse.com and search for one you like. Then go to a library that got a 3D-printers and print it.

On EBay, you can find the Williams/Wilton bicentennial pewter mugs.
On Amazon, you can find the Marvy hard rubber mugs

Well I ended up getting another Old Spice mug.

It's a different design, but appears to be the same size as my other Old Spice mug that I have. Used it for a few shaves and I like it.

I'll try to post a picture of them. When I get the chance.

    Excellent choice.
I have several in use and several spares for backup.

I donated my old Marvy a few Travel Boxes ago, I hope it found a good home.

I just got my second one! It's the exact same as my first but this one has Toronto Canada underneath the ship which is awesome because I was born in TO so this one is special for me.

That is a pretty good website with a lot of great stuff but I'm curious about one thing, is there really that much of a difference between a brush that cost $25 and a brush that cost $250? I mean they look the same, made out of the same hair so why such a huge price gap? I've never quite understood that...
