  3. It has been a tough year in this part of the world for hurricanes. I think the last major one through there was Rita in 2005. They are always a danger down here. It is kinda uncommon to get them back to back in same area.

  5. i hope the run ends soon.forest fire were our big threat here the last few years..thankfully a cooler wetter summer this year.just covid..;)..west coast got burned up good though..

  11. Friday was holiday here, Hangul Day. Hangul is the phonetic Korean alphabet created by King Sejong. Hangul was invented in the 15th century to help increase the literacy of the population as before Hangul all writing was done in Chinese characters. To thank King Sejong for making Korea easier to learn and for the day off my woman and I walked to the park to pay our respects in person. A glorious fall day.

    Given this was a date day I picked my 7/8 Riga Razor which always seems to have an exception edge, picked the Arlington cream since that is favorite of my woman and experienced an epic shave.

    Prep: Warm shower / Original Source ~ Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

    Pre:
    Cold wet flannel to my face .
    Simple ~ Sensitive Bar Soap + Wilko Men's shave Oil.
    Brush: Vie-Long Horsehair.
    Bowl Lather.
    Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
    Frankenlather : Kiss My Face Peaceful Patchouli Shave Cream. + L'0REAL Barber Club Protecting Shave Cream.
    Blade: Ladas Super Stainless. (1)
    Razor: Parker 24C.

    Post:
    Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Benjamins ~ mentholated Bay Rum./ Baylis & Harding ~ Amber & Sandalwood ASB.

    A new shave set up to start the weekend...I haven't used the Russian made Ladas S.S. blade for a while today it matched up with the Parker 24c superbly resulting in a wonderful 3 pass + pick near BBS smooth shave with no errors to report.
    Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Baylis & Harding ~ Amber & Sandalwood ASB.

    My face is feeling super smooth and smelling divine.;)
