    That's terrible! A few month's ago, someone charged $400+ on my bankcard to purchase an item on EBay! These people are slick cyber crooks!

    The hacking is an awful experience. I hope you clear it up and recover everything soon.

    Interestingly, I received a weird automated voicemail yesterday that identified themselves as being Apple and they were calling to inform me that my Apple ID had been disabled because of unauthorized login attempts and they recommended that I do not open any financial apps. Then it asked that I press 1 to speak to a representative...
    I've never before received a call from Apple. And, my Apple ID stills works and nothing has been taken from my accounts fortunately. Maybe a scam attempt?

    Second PSA....Android or iOS. Turn on 2FA (2 factor authentication) for your Google or Apple account, as well as every financial app you can. Don't know how or what it is, learn.

    Turning this feature on with an iOS or MacOS device, will alert you AS someone is trying to access your account, and you can, immediately deny or authorize access BEFORE the compromise happens. My latest experience with Google only alerts via email. I no longer use Android, so I don't know if it does this at the OS level.

    I use financial services that do the same. If any of my personal or business debit or credit card information is used (not just swiped), I get an alert 'as it happens in near real time'. Example.....credit card at a restaurant....my phone will pop an alert that the card I handed the server, has been swiped....even before they return to the table. Same for pumping gas...I get an alert while I am filling up a vehicle.
