    Lather Catcher Sunday's Shave
    zcws.jpg

    Cold Water Rinse
    Eufros Sandalo Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #417
    Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher
    Personna GEM SS PTFE
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Iced Blue

The Eufros Sandalo Shaving Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #417 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Iced Blue. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

  6. Very nice, Sergio. Personally, I enjoy some vintage Vetiver de Guerlain AS.

  7. Thank you, Joseph.

I do not have any idea of the fragrance of the one I smelled.
I have 2 EdT's I love very much, but have no idea which soap to choose.

A member of the Italian forum makes great tallow based soaps, but in the one I smelled, the fragrance faded too much to make up my mind.
For sure I do not like sweet scents: but this is all I know!
  8. How do you rate Cella?

  9. Taking into consideration performance, packaging and fragrance I believe it could be sold at a rather higher price if it came from a more aristocratic producer.

It does more than expected from a soap that range of cost, and scent faded, since I received i, but it does what is promised.

I prefer stronger scents and almond is not my top choice, but, sometimes, is a leap into the past.
  10. Sunday:

warm shower with Yardley English Lavender bar soap
    Maggard Lavender PSO
Schick H type (Hussy) 2+ passes
    Mystery blade (?)
Castle Forbes Lavender S/C in a warm bowl
    Century boar
    Thayers Lavender WH
Musgo Real Lavender Agua de Colonia

I was rooting around in a drawer and found my Schick H type with a blade in it and decided to use it for this morning's shave. I bought it a long time ago, tried it once or twice, and forgot where I put it. I'll guess the blade is a Chinese Schick but I really don't know.
A close shave but I was a bit too aggressive and ended up with a few weepers. I think I'll use this until the blade is dull and get my technique figured out.

Solid, solid shave. No, the Janus Toggle is not perfect but, it’s good enough for me. That’s all that matters in the end. Have a great day and awesome shaves to all....
