    Well, this is gonna be a great week for shaving. I was looking through my stash o'stuff and found a couple of Dura Sharp blades and remember that I had tried them some time ago and liked them. Gotta say that I really like them again, Smooth, comfortable and very effective and my face likes them a lot. The CRSW "Schapenmelk" is a really dandy SS that works. The Face Nice bay rum is the only bay rum that I like. Made by Kae Culonberry in Florida and is good stuff too. So, all is well and my face is very very happy. Now go enjoy your day f0lks.

    What a Grand Freeze this was - the Glacial Spearmint soap, the matching balm, and the Arctique aftershave did a helluva number on me and I’m proud to say that I got a brilliant three pass BBS shave!

    All my other razors are packed for this week's cross country move, so it's all Shake Sharp. Twin Derby Extra blades on their second shave performed way better than expected. Beautiful shave. Will flip the blades tomorrow.[​IMG]

    Razor: Micromatic open comb- Mfg 1930-41, excellent mid range razor, well engineered 1st Twist to open(TTO) in N.A.
    Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (9) Excellent blade in longevity, very sharp & smooth & very cost effective per shave.
    Soap: Razorock Lavender- one of my favorites for scent and lather qualities.
    Brush: Yaqi timberwolf whiskers 24mm syn, excellent for creating lather & cloud like soft tips.
    Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe vera gel on beard area.
    Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
    Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= [​IMG] Excellent shave with my Gem Micro-matic OC.
