Fine shave this morning. Rounded out the trifecta of Bay Rum products(Jeeves soap/Stephan A.S.). Moved up from 2 to 3 passes. I got a couple tiny Knicks on the first, but they were gone by the end of the 3rd, with the added soap from pass 3. I guess after a 3-pass shave you need a bit more aftershave presuming you want to counter the soap scent. 0:30 to load the Jeeves BR onto the small but powerful(IMO)Stoylin "Li'l Brudder" brush. Taking more time now to "paint" the areas I want shaved, which is essentially everywhere from the bottom of the neck to the ear area. Solid shave all around, save for the Knicks, which happened at South Porcupine Alley. I'm good, clean, and fresh(although I suppose I have more of a soap scent than that of the aftershave-as I said, more of the latter is needed on a 3-passer). We learn things in life. Super Duper Excellent.
Thank You. I do not like adjustable. I do for sure not love aggressive razors. I hate heavy ones. BUT, the Merkur Futur is a true beauty.
Yeah, but did you get Louisiana style red beans and rice doused with extra pepper sauce when you landed? That, having ice cream, getting a new wristwatch, and scoring a BBS shave, would make the day complete.
That's a great way to start a Tuesday. The LEA soap sounds interesting. I hope your day goes smoothly, Clint.
OCtober Focus 3P Almond Shaving Soap~~dubl duck #14~~WR2/Sharp Star~~Ogallala Bay Rum HELLO TSD! What a great shave Primo had this morning. The 3P Almond Shaving Soap was a gift from @Steve56 and, in my most humble opinion, is a far better soap than the more-popular Cella. Really slick 'n creamy lather; subtile almond scent (not marzipan); post-shave extraordinaire. As the late Siskel & Ebert used to say: "Two thumbs up". (I miss those guys) The WR2 performed well and I have to admit, this razor is becoming near and dear to my heart. Genuine Ogallala Bay Rum (Double Strength!) really made a great finish on this chilly morning.
