My daughter and I attended an informal open house this morning at her middle school that was for incoming 6th graders. They start back face-to-face on Monday, which is a relief.

  4. Thank you, Myles!
  5. Thank you, Jeff! The NEW is definitely in my top choices for Gillettes. I'm thinking of getting a backup in case something should happen to this one.

  9. Congrats on a super shave, Joseph. I can get away with ATG on the first pass on my neck about half the time. Easy does it. :)

  10. Classy shave, Gary. Love the reds! And the bricks!

  11. A Gillette NEW LC with a Voskhod blade and a boar brush. Does it get any better? I don't think so! Seriously, that would all be in my desert island kit.

Talk about color coordination! You installed a granite countertop to color coordinate with your shave kit. I just don't know if I can keep up with you guys.

  12. Thank you, Jason! Olympus is an Aventus dupe. Both the soap and aftershave have moderate/strong scent strength too.
I'm glad TOTC is carrying more for the Canadian market. I've not ordered anything from them (can't say that for Maggard's though :rolleyes005:).
  13. It's definitely modeled on the Karve handle. Enjoy it, Danny!

  17. If I was on the fence about a Blackbird, Jim, your photo sold me on it. A Fabulous near BBS shave is the right way to start a day.

  18. A new Belmont or Bostonian could fit the bill as well! Both are great shavers.

  19. Great shave, Jeff. You have some beautiful and unique gear. I'm with you on the soap comment. My tried and true soap, which shall remain unnamed in respect of your blood pressure, outclasses most any artisan soap I've tried except maybe Mike's Natural Soaps.

I used a full container of Soap Commander once. It was the best three years of my life. ;)

I'd raise a glass on Blanton's in your honor, but I just poured a quart of Southern Sweet Tea. :)

  20. If you show that soap container to your buddies at work, Danny, I'd like to hear what they think about it. Triple Dog Dare.
