Must be in a listing mood tonight... My Mt. Rushmore of Vintage Razors that I own. Not a wish list. (4 favourites from 4 manufacturers): Cooper MonoBilt Gillette NEW LC Barbasol Floating Head Schick G4 (or E3, feel the same to me).
The butterknife II is on the drawing board. Blade will be changeable....I cannot divulge anymore details but will be looking for a test pilot when it's ready
Congrats Blair! As I said, I was very tempted to bid on that one myself. Enjoy! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Thanks Jason! She has a website, but it is in Ukrainian so you have to use Google Translator. I guess it's a small company. I never asked JR how he obtained the soap. It does lather well and the scent is mild.
Sorry about the rough shave Patrick. It could be a simple solution like changing to one of your favorite blades or the geometry of the razor is so unforgiving that the slightest error in angle causes a bite. You have used the MM without a problem prior to this shave so maybe you pressed down a little too much on the razor. Realistically, it could be a number of things. I would use it again and just watch the angle and pressure.
15th October 2020. Shaving recipe for today. Prep: Warm shower / Original Source ~ Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel. Pre: Cold wet flannel to my face. Simple ~ Sensitive Bar Soap + Wilko Men's shave Oil. Brush : Turkish Unbranded Boar. Face Lather. soap : Arko Shave Stick. Blade: Ladas Super Stainless. (2) Razor: Lord L125. Post: Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint Lavender, + eucalyptus, Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Arko ~ Comfort A/S Cologne./ Wilko ~ Men's Aftershave Balm. Greetings, A wonderful razor / blade combo to finish my shaving week off in style. The Egyptian made razor is another razor i've infrequently used since it was passed on to me today is another example to myself that you don't need expensive shaving products to have socially acceptable shaves...However, it's always nice to use my what i consider "posher shaving items" in my den, but equally the same with my least expensive as i appreciate both and get the same pleasure & enjoyment from both. I never forget my humble beginning's when i first entered into the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving...Another pleasurable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report. Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Wilko ~ Men's Aftershave Balm. My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. Stay safe, and enjoy your Day ladies & gentlemen.
Kathy is already up to adding hot sauce?! That is a great sign for her recovery, glad to hear she is back to her normal self. Tabasco is my choice for Louisiana hot sauce. I am curious to see how you like the Brad Sears brush, have been debating getting one for a long time. The Old Bay brings back memories of growing up in Maryland and eating crabs.
Quick post: Wednesday an epic shave with the Rocnel-G Thursday an excellent shave with my Dovo Bismarck
Grazie Giuseppe. Thanks Blair. My experience is different. Not bad at all. Just I feel It too aggressive.

Sorry to hear about the bad shave, Patrick, but there’s always tomorrow! I suspect the Shave Gods just wanted to remind you of your CT, El Scratcho!
