I think what some are trying to point out is that while YMMV, most all of us have found leaving carts behind was a key step into getting exponentially better shaves. I suspect that is what folks are finding a little frustrating is that they feel they know the answer to help you out. You have some outstanding software choices in your den and I would be honoured if you would take one of my old Gillettes and a decent Russian blade for a spin to match those excellent soaps you have.
