Good for you, Paul! If I can straight shave successfully with Parkinson’s, anyone can! There’s a great video on YT by Lynn Abramswhen I was getting started that’s worth checking out. @Trigger as a friend of yours should prove a great resource!
@Trigger made an excellent point that @Paul Turner should heed. I wasn’t aware Paul was shaving with disposable carts. I agree with Joe, that Paul should probably spend some time with a DE or SE before picking up a straight to master ‘negative pressure’ which is key to successful straight shaving.
i sometimes eat desert before a steak dinner as well....why not. cars park themselves these days..you can get taco flavored pizzas.what a mess..
Well, I'll still watch the videos and read the posts. They may all say what Joe said, so I may end up deciding to wait.
or you could try..maybe starting fresh with something could work out instead of unlearning something else..most guys 120 years ago started with a straight razor..follow your heart..and the straight gurus videos/advice when trying..these are available as well.Lord disposable straight razors.i tried one..not bad..
Let’s not push Paul into something he’s not ready for! Believe me when I say a straight can do serious damage! It did to me 5 yrs ago!
fair enough,i have been trying to help him with his disposable journey the last 6 months or so......small steps..
Actually, I was pushing MUHSELF on that one. It just seemed like something I could "handle" (pun intended). Lords look good.
