    I’m not exactly sure of the full history, but I believe Gillette bought the company and sold the razors as “off brands.”

    gillette bought german roth-buchner in 1926 and sold some new series razors under that name to cash in on non gillette markets.became unfashionable when ww2 started to buy german type products ..nazis took it during the war.basically gillette germany today.
