Great pic, combo and write up, Andrew. The newer tallow base is very well regarded in that soap as well. I had a sample of Duc du Santal (sp?)a few years ago- also a very nice HetV scent.
Magnificent photo, Doug. I see there is a full-in-package Ship's Cannon of Shulton AS available from a Canadian address on the Bay right now as well. I assume you have that one in your collection?
Very nice, Joe. Agree partially on soaps- performance is necessary, but a nice scent is part of the equation for me. Even my 'scentless' stuff like Palmolive still has a scent I find pleasant.
I'm sorry, Gary, but that pic is not authentic. She would lower the average age of female Tabac lovers considerably, her purse isn't dark brown, it doesn't have a partially used 1/4 roll of old Certs, and the leather appears to be real, as opposed to Naugahyde.
Thank you, Gentlemen. The cobwebs were too much. I'll sign up for Clint's class online tonight (complete with Four Roses) and try an outdoor shot tomorrow.
