    Great shave with the first straight razor I ever bought 5 years ago, a Dovo Special. It sat in a drawer for too long. This morning, for a change of pace, I applied the shave cream with my hands after my cold water rinse and Chel Cooling Gel application. My Nancy Boy Signature shave cream provided an excellent lather for my two pass (WTG, ATG) Mug shave. The Auto Strop VC1 mowed down my dome stubble as well to leave me with a correspondingly excellent two pass (ATG, ATG) dome shave. A brush is definitely preferred in the future. I feel refreshed and velveteen smooth!

    RAZOR: Dovo Special 5/8 (Mug). Valet Auto Strop VC1 (Dome)
    BLADE: Feather FHS-10
    PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Chel Cooling Gel
    CREAM: Nancy Boy Signature
    POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Krampert’s Frostbite AS Splash and Nancy Boy Cooling Gel Signature scent balm.
