Hope all is well in 30 DC land . I’m busy contemplating how to sell ice cream to schools that are closed, but I occasionally pop in to defend myself from Charlie’s misinformation campaigns. Regardless, I gotta appreciate this guy’s pants. Not my style, but the dude’s effort in pants selection is admirable. Can’t decide if the fuzzy wing hat helps or hurts his look though. Oh, and Charlie: It’s MISTER Fancypants to you!

Jason, you are becoming a master of the shavette fu quote. If you really want to work on your shavette fu game, though, you gotta work on insulting people. (Can Canadians even do that?)

As we know, I rarely describe and give a comment on a goo shave, but this was definitely GENTLEMANLY goo. Same setup as yesterday, with Barbasol followed by Osage Rub. The shaving cream endorsed by Babe Ruth and Knute Rockne(two class gentleman in their own right) did me real good today, especially at the edges of North Porcupine Alley. I worked the edges real slow, and succeeded. Wasn't it @wristwatchb who famously said "Slow and steady wins the race"? Oh, mighta been @BaylorGator . Anyway, it does make good sense, shaving included. I might have done a little better at the northern tip of Cactus Nation(i.e., the jawline). But it was OK. Nice clean fresh shave. Osage to finish. Super Duper Excellent. Back to the shavesoaps quite a while now(interrupted occasionally by Gentlemanly Goo).

And now a correction-Gold is shaving "cream" soap, but Tuscan Oud is just shaving soap. Odd, as both have about the same appearance.

It's great to hear from you, Randy, and I humbly stand corrected.

    Pass the ice cream please.

Great shave, Paul. I'll take credit for the quote. @BaylorGator has control of the world's ice cream supply, a Mar-a-Lago Club membership, Swiss bank accounts, and a trendsetting fashion wardrobe and toupee collection. What else could he possibly need?

Thanks Danny. Great tutorial. The Rubberset 400 is a beauty. Can I claim it under our spare parts agreement?

Back with "The City" for today's shave. The big Dubl Duck boar tore through the soap whipping up a mountain of rich slick lather. After using modern SS and Brass razors for several weeks the New SC is so light it feels like a toy. At any rate it still delivers a wonderful shave. Three passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect BBS. My nemesis, aka my lower right neck, aided by operator error allowed the little guy to escape.

My wife is making Indian snacks, panipuri and bhel puri, for lunch. Her friend Karen is coming over for lunch and then beading. I am looking forward to a fantastic lunch. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.
