My Mongoose focus wrapped up this month with my trusty focus gear. I shaved about every other day and consistently got seven shaves out of each Feather Super Pro blade. It's one of my favorite setups, and I can routinely get a near BBS with it in 2+ passes.

Next up is my Trac II DisposABLE focus that begins either tomorrow or Monday. My goal is to achieve Top of The World Excellent shaves in 2+ passes. It will be important to note that my products will lack oud scent, and they will not be produced by Bill Neumann, Clubman, or PAA in order to differentiate myself from our very own @Paul Turner. Neither will anything in my Den be sprayed from a pressurized can. I can't exclude the possibility, however, that I may use a Stoylin product, perform an occasional Throwback Thursday shave, prognosticate on the outcome of the 30DC monthly poll, quote lyrics from a 1970s song, or shop at Piggly Wiggly on Senior Tuesday. :git:

I received some good news from my doc on my annual physical this week. He was complimentary on my overall good health and weight management (he helped me get on the right track here) and the fact that I followed up on everything he suggested last year. As a parting gift, I even got a pneumonia shot. I have a follow-up with a dermatologist to examine a spot on my schnoz, and I return in three months for follow-up blood work. I've already got my 2021 physical scheduled. I'm the guy that hardly even went to the doc for anything, and I made a commitment a couple of years ago to do better when it comes to the preventive care.

  14. I don't yet have the Bill Neumann aftershaves, but you KNOW I am looking forward to them :). I'll be interested in your future findings, Charlie...but then I ALWAYS am. As for health, my flu shot is scheduled for Halloween(BOO)and I'll have the second and final "half" of my shingles shot sometime next month. By the way, back to Bill Neumann, there really IS a Bill Neumann...William was the original foundation-layer back in the early 1900's.....Bill is a great-great-grandson who welcomes us to the website.

  18. Danny, what a great shave! I wish I was there to hear you sing, and maybe we could go out for BBQ afterward.

I remember the first time you used Arko. Your song wasn't so happy then. You have a nice looking family, though, when you guys get all gussied up.

If I can locate my jug, I'll bring the family with me to Alabama. Maybe we can squeeze out a few tunes out after dinner and then have some ice cream and Roll Tide cookies.
