A beautiful gray morning...
12° C. But it was warm.
I would have used a gray sky soap, but I wanted to try a soap that a friend sent me.
But a...a lavender soap!
How is it possible to use soap with that smell?
How can you think of sending me a soap with that scent?
I never liked lavender and I still hate it!
Besides, while I really appreciate the performance of these Teutonic soaps, I never got along with their scents and I was quite curious about it and, frankly, skeptical.
As soon as I opened the jar, a couple of days ago, I didn't like the fragrance I smelled.
Last night I smelled it again and the perception was different.
This morning I found it peculiar, but not bad, on the contrary!
Once lathered I could perceive a different scent from when it was dry.
Definitely tantalizing.
The lather was flowing and protective, as usual.
A praise for the packaging: very German!
A sturdy blue glass vase and a very essential and elegant label: no frills, improbable drawings which often Italians and Americans indulge in..
I like it very much and I liked the soap as much as the scent.
The only less positive note: the blade.
Efficient and flowing, but not as mild as its green cousin.
