It feels a little better, but that's because of the medicines. I am afraid it is going to take a few days before Ithe eye clears up. It really was a bad abrasion.
OCtober 26th Cooper MonoBilt Omega Pro/Resin A&E Asian Plum SS Thayers Maol Heliopteris AS A late afternoon recap of an early morning shave. I hadn't shaved since Friday, so the MonoBilt took care of a full 72 hours growth this morning. A new soap in my den- this and another one are the result of a hardware and software swap between Gary and I. I'm excited to try a few highly regarded artisans I haven't had a chance to before. The lather was a typical, top tier artisan soft soap lather. I pushed it to its hydration limit and might have taken it a bit past its breaking point, but it provided a great lather. I must admit, I wasn't super stoked about the scent profile, but it really works. So much more going on with it besides the aforementioned and titular Plum. I thought the Heliopteris might be a decent match and I think it was. A good start to MonoBilt Monday. Have a great day all!
awesome shave and pic Jason..asian plum is a dupe of Calani oriental plum shave soap which is tough to find..but well loved..
they are trying to appease the older school de crew they screwed over in the 70s..late to the party. beaten out by wilkinson but at least they finally showed up..kind of like chevy or dodge....
It feels a little better, but the eyesight is still blurry. It is a little disconcerting, but I trust God.
if you got converted from de to carts you are older school in my view..had a good thing going but got screwed with marketing gimmicks..
I recall my Dad did electrics a lot, but he probably used regular razors/creams/Aftershaves too. Don't know if he used brushes, but he was born in 1921.
he may well have used a brush or 2..sounds to me like an old school shaver..did he ever say.."those damn plastic razor junkies" or hippies?....
