I used to be that guy. For fun I'm letting the top grow back in and people are commenting ( not on the grey hair) but the fact that they all thought the reason I shaved my head was due to baldness. I may just be rocking a mullet again...I see them on the younger generation.
OCtober 27th TTO Tuesday Tabaco Tuesday Razor: Gillette Aristocrat TTO Blade: Gillette Nacet Brush: X3 Clone SS & AS: WSP BlackBeard I'm really going to like this razor. Very very mild. The shave was excellent. So, I've been distracted 4 times while writing this. Posting before it's tomorrow and I still haven't posted.
Such an iconic, art deco design on the 'Crat, Evan. Congrats! Both the 30s TTO OC and the 30s New Improved with the standard Art Deco handle were the pinnacle of Gillette aesthetics, in my sort-of-humble opinion.
Just a quick check-in and update! I'll be back over the next couple of days! I've grown disillusioned attempting to maintain an edge on a straight razor and have purchased a Parker SRX. First shave today - really enjoyed it! Lots of DE blades to snap in half and use up! It is much heavier and more substantial than the cheap plastic shavette I tried a while ago. I can see this being a great razor!
You see them on young people? Really? Insert Alabama joke here? Often, in Canada, mullets are associated with hockey players. One of the best known 'flos' of all time belonged to this guy: He kept it for 20 years. Young: ...and old:
thank you Patrick,it's part of my OCD....i need to know the details about stuff i do or like..i know some general specifics about certain razors i own but not enough for a manual.there are far more knowledgeable gillette folks out there.
