    Mores code (basics like SOS) (maybe)
    Handle a gun (yes)
    Sharpen a knife (Eagle Scout...of course)
    Change oil/tire (yes)
    Start a fire (with and with out a match/lighter etc) (yes)
    Cook a basic meal (I can cook better than a lot of women I know)
    Make a good chili (see above)
    Grill a steak (see above)
    How to eat seafood (crack lobster, crab, and most of all how to shuck an oyster) (I grew up in Charleston, SC on the beach, of course)
    Give a baby a bath (dont plan to have kids anytime soon)
    Change a Diaper (same as above)
    Make a bottle (still...no kids)
    Dispose of a body (Tony knows what I am talking about)
    Tie a Bowline and other basic knots (Boy Scout)
    Roll a smoke (well...not a cigarette :D )
    Light a cigar (I hate cigars)
    Light and smoke a pipe (not really)
    Set a table and use the right utensil (left hand and right hand)
    Use the right glass for the right drink (HIIIIIIIIII BALLLLLLLLL) (yes)
    Pick the right wine with the right meal (I know nothing about wine)
    Fix a Toilet (yes)
    Do Laundry (yes)
    Iron a shirt (yes)
    Fold a shirt (yes)
    Open a beer with out a bottle opener (I think this is a survival instinct)
    Make Coffee (I live on coffee)
    Hunt, Gut, and eat with respect (thanks Jim) (yes)
    Fish (yes - esp saltwater)
    Program a VCR/DVD player/TV/Remote (thats just something you old folks cant do :D )
    Throw a spiral (yes)
    Play catch (yes)
    Waltz (yes)

    set a broken bone

    mend a broken heart

    know how to protect yourself and a woman

    plan an invasion

    set up an ambush, (if you know how to set one up, then you'll know how to avoid one, and not all ambushes are of the military kind)

    know how to fold the Flag

    know how to render honors to the colors

    understand the meaning of honor

    believe in something strongly enough to die for it.

    Nobody appears to have mentioned:

    Perform basic carpentry, such as replacing a board, or building a dog house. (I go further, but we'll leave it basic)
    Replace a basic electrical fixture.
    Replace a broken belt in your washing machine/car
    Install a dishwasher
    Fix a slow drain/leaky pipe
    Sharpen a hatchet/saw
    Clear trees from a fence.
    Keep your wife happy :)
