  1. Thank you Joe....Spice isn't my favorite Stoylin, but it's a Stoylin nevertheless, which is good enough. It probably would feel best during colder temperatures.

  2. Yours is the first comment I'm seeing. That makes sense, as Shulton's jingle says it is "the freshness of the open sea"(as the gentleman casually flips the aftershave to a surprised receiver).

  3. Take care, Joe. I am glad to hear you are healing.

  4. My friend in BC loves his Karve with both of the C plates. He continues to brag on the workmanship, the fact that it was made in Canada, and even the personalized note that was included. He's "all in" on DE shaving now.

I may eventually pull the trigger on one with a pair of the aggressive plates. I think it would be a fantastic DE razor to own and use.

  5. Great shave with beautiful gear, Jeff. I'm glad you landed on skin-friendly favorite soap like MWF. I use unrefined shea butter for the skin benefit also.

    I hope all is well.

  6. I reach for my 30 DC LE brushes every chance I get, Jason. They both have wonderful designs, and they feel great in my hand. I love using 'em, and I always remember where they came from. In fact, the majority of the brushes in my small rotation came from artisan makers like yourself, Evan, Jayaruh, and Rudy Vey. Each one has a story, and they're all one-of-a-kind in my book. It doesn't get much better than that in Charlie's World.

Yeah, brother, you are an artisan. Get used to it. :)

You might need a little help with branding, but we'll save that for another day.

  11. Thanks Jason. I do have a D-OC plate but for comparison I only used the SB plates. I have to admit and Clint has came to the same conclusion as well that the Karve OC plates are not quite as smooth as the SB plates. It is very slight though.

Step on out there and get that Karve. You will not be disappointed.

  12. Awesome shaves Jeff. A very purdy straight. The Ronson is interesting. I seen one at an antique store a while back but passed on it. Take care.

  14. Thanks Joe, just a matter of getting the right blood pressure medicine.
  15. Sun is shining now. :happy005:
  16. Thanks for the cookies. I started one BP medicine about a month ago. Two weeks in no change. Called the doctor's office. He added another pill to the pot. That pill worked but I had swelling in the legs, feet and hands. Off of that one today and starting a new one in the morning. See the doc in thirty days for another co-pay. Getting old ain't fun but shaving is!

  19. Thank You, Gentlemen.

Nothing changed in AS formula by SV.
Maybe, not sure at all after the years, my first bottle (2016) of Dolomiti was a little lighter as fragrance.
BUT, this new one is not strong either. For sure!!!

    EDIT:
    I truely love this scent.
Very classy, a nice modern cologne.
