I've seen the listings on Amazon, but didn;t know they had their own website. Good to hear of great customer service.
And I thought I was a master enabler. Beautiful brush, James. Looking forward to some superb SOTD photos.
Thank you, Joseph! This tub is about 3 years old and is great to lather. The Jacinthe soap I have from them lathers the same. I was surprised though when I added the Bay Rum recently - it's completely different to lather (very thirsty). I see the different bases marketed, but don't really recall what I have. In the end, I do enjoy using all of the B&M products I have (soaps and aftershaves).
Oh . Well, that's why I called it "backdoor logic". In line with this, I think Clubman gets it wrong by putting the year 1810 on its productts. Eduard Pinaud was BORN that year. I suppose the spin there is if he hadn't been born, he never would have gotten his products up and running in 1830, as he did.
Lovely shave with a classic safety razor, Andrew! I shaved my dome with mine a few days ago. Nice kit!
Thank you, Andrew! Thanks, Jason! It is purdy! Thanks, Joseph! I'm an especially easy target right now. Feeling a little punch drunk. 132 hours worked over the last eleven consecutive days. I'm tired and my guard is down. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Ah yes, the wonderful and nostalgic smells of the 1830s. To what did a young Mr. Pinaud base his newly minted fragrances on? What was in the world around him that were influences on his olfactoric alchemy? What did the romanticized Continent offer fresh Edouard? Well, the first indoor toilet had just been installed in 1829 while most all of the continent was awash in sewage...the air quality from coal powered factories in parts of Great Britain was so bad that the average height of men born in that decade was up to 3 inches shorter than areas that were unindustrialized and...wait for it...masking the stench of the cavalry on the battlefield was their first marketing ploy. Mmmmmm….sign me up.
Well, Jim, if you are worried about spending more money on original brushes while you are tired, then DO NOT go to Rodney Neep's site at http://www.pensoftheforest.co.uk/shaving/retrodeluxe/index.html You will thank me for steering you away from this at a later date, I'm sure.
