    Super charged ah?
As I go about my daily shaving, I'm finding safety bars are llike interlocks on high power transmitters.
    Some need them, some don't.
I had a tendency to "cheat" interlocks.
    Well.....

    Thanks again!
It's partly cloudy now, the sun just might peer through the clouds after all.

    Thanks Gary!
    Awesome???
Probably verges on crazy, but I like it that way.
    It's good it's not insane.
Would be hard to shave in a straight jacket huh.

Excellent shave today with two awesome razors.

Three alternating passes of glorious goodness finished off with some American Tobacco by Andy Hilfiger.

Nothing new learned today and today's shave just confirms my thoughts from yesterday. Both razors are extremely close in blade feel with plate E in the Karve. The Karve is a little smoother. The Bird does have a little audio feedback from the blade.

For me the winner in my mind is the Karve. If the Karve was at 10 I would put the bird at 9.9. They are close.

Both razors are aesthetically pleasing but very different in appearance.

This was my last shave with the Bird and I appreciate Clint @ clint64 trust with this beauty. The Bird will be returning home next week with cookies. I understand that the Bird may be for sale so PM Clint if interested.

I would like to offer my Karve up for loan to the 30DC. Hint....hint...Charlie @wristwatchb. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM. I have the B-SB, C-SB, D-OC and F-SB plates. This will give you a great opportunity to test run a Karve before you purchase one.

Am I sad to see the Bird go? Of course but I have some fond memories of the Bird.

Hope everyone has a great Friday!

A fine shave this morning with my first crack at the Razorock Tuscan Oud soap. 0:30 to load it onto the Crown King brush-I was getting good lather. Good sweeping strokes all over. As I got going with the first pass, I knew I'd need that second. Pass #2 was still OK, but I did leave some astroturf on the right cheek area. I did better at the right jawline side, which was good. Also no cuts or Knicks....that was VERY good. Cactus Nation looks and feels good. Agadir Oud Wood A.S. for the close. Most Excellent.

Wonderful photo and shave report Danny. I am not surprised that you found the razors to be so similar. Both are fine examples of modern razors.

Very nice straight razor, Jeff. 6/8 is a great size for my tastes as well.

good morning gents..friday shave.fine jeeves barbershop lather built with the rubberset 200-3the knot will break in after a few shaves...loaded the Executive with a platinum blade and went to town.i know it's not an OC but you know i had to try it it out..probably the rarest U.S.razor i own..it's slightly lighter than it's brit counterpart, but it gave a fine bbs in 2+ smooth passes.felt quite similar to my U.S aristocrat.jeeves aftershave to finish..awesome..now to look for a case for this bad boy..these razors complete with nice case and original blade dispensers go for $500 + so i am not holding my breath.may have to make a nice case myself or use a shiny brit case.either way i am glad i scored it.have a great friday everyone..
