Great post storm shave Clint. That orange handle just popped in the picture. Thankful you suffered no damage. That brush is so purdy. I have 25.6 ounces of Brut I would be willing to trade even.
Yes, I agree. I can't really recreate much of what he is doing as he uses a lot of metal and stone, but I do find a lot of his stuff to be very original and unique in a good way.
Friday's Shave #OCtober GEM Micromatic GEM S/S PTFE (1) CSB Faux Horn Badger FatBac Dickinson's Witch Hazel Alt-Innsbruck Aftershave I forget which member here first used the frankensoap, FatBac combo, but I decided to give it a go today. Result = magnificent lather! I just lightly rubbed the Tabac shave soap onto my face and then fully loaded my brush with MWF. After slowly adding a lot of water during the face lather, I ended up with a super slick, cushioned and stable lather that resembled Greek yogurt. 3 passes with the GEM Micromatic and a fresh PTFE blade this morning provided an uber comfortable and efficient shave that resulted in the baby being quietly put to bed. Alt-Innsbruck has quickly become one of my favorites as well. I think I may try combining my other shave sticks each time I use Da Fat and see what type of lather is created. Almost nearing the end...
I'm good thanks....had my final P.T. (balance)this morning, but the babe....I mean THERAPIST...invited me back in a couple months if I felt the need. Meanwhile I will incorporate some of the routines during gym visits. We have COVID cases on the rise here, too, so I hope they don't shut down the gym and barbershop(I have a haircut on Nov. 14-THEN they can shut down the b-shop lol). I still can't get to the Senior Center and library(although we now can go in to the library by appointment and only the first floor. Otherwise, things are OK here. .
