Hi everybody! I want to give you an update. My vision is 99% back in my left eye. I want to thank you all for your prayers. I now can tell you about what I was facing. I poked my eye late Sunday night/early Monday morning. I couldn't sleep because I was in pain and the vision was severely blurred. I had to go to the ER and was diagnosed with a very severe corneal abrasion that was dead center over my pupil. I was prescribed antibiotics and 8 tablets of Percoset. Before I left the ER, the staff had me look at the eye chart. Well, I couldn't see the eye chart at all because the entire field of vision was blotted out. I was looking at a gray field with no details. I was thinking all this time that I really damaged my cornea that I may have needed an implant. It wasn't until Wed. that I saw some improvement and yesterday it was so much better. Today, the vision is so clear that I could have shaved with a straight razor. I have very little pain and the redness is disappearing. The main thing is that my left eye is fine. I was able to drive with both eyes working. I celebrated going to the gym. It's been a week since the last time I worked out. I did 45 min of light cardio because I didn't want to push it. I shaved today using the same setup from my last shave for a BBS- result. So today was my last shave of the month. I am planning on being a semi-regular to regular poster on Nov 1. In fact, I will open up the month using a straight razor.
