October 31, 2020 RR Game Changer Jaws 0.84 mm Feather Shavemac Synthetic Antiga Barbearia de Bairro Shave Soap Antiga Barbearia de Bairro Principe Real After Shave I am enjoying a relaxing morning here at the homestead. After walking the dog, I took the time to enjoy almost an entire pot of coffee. Back with the ABB soap and Shavemac today. Once again the soap was easy to load and lather. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. I have enjoyed shaving with the Jaws this week. However, it is on its way to a new home next week. I went with the ABB Principe Real AS this morning. The AS has citrus top notes over a woody base. As allows the AS has had glycerin and lanolin added for post shave feel. I am looking forward to a relatively relaxing day. After watching the UGA vs Kentucky game at noon, I want to take the time to clean up my shop. I had a lathe delivered last week and need to begin getting everything setup and ready for the new turning hobby. I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. October 2020 Recap OC October is one of my favorite theme months of the year. I love OC razors and enjoy any excuse to enjoy them. I was able to rotate through most all of my OC razors this month. The two real standouts for me were the Blackland Trader OC and the Tatara Masamune OC. Both are relative new comers to the den and have proven to be among my favorite razors. I also had a mini focus with Mitchell's Wool Fat using it 18 times this month. MWF frustrated me several years ago and @Droo78 Andrew inspired me to give it another go. The results this time were much better. In the end, I was able to make it work for me. I am interested in seeing how the soap works when used only for Fat Friday shaves. As usual the best part of the month was the friendship, civility and shenanigans shared on this thread. Given all that is going on in the world, it is nice to have a refuge that still aspires to the best parts of our shared humanity. Take care and see you next month.
Fantastic gear and wrap up for OCtober, Joseph. The brush is a real eye-catcher. Thanks, my friend, for leading the 30 DC charge.
Great shave lineup and photo, Clint! I always enjoy reading your end of month recap with accompanying calendar. 18 days with MWF seemed to treat you better than my own experiences, so my hat goes off to you!

Saturday's Shave #OCtober GEM Micromatic GEM S/S PTFE (2) Grizzly Bay 'Crimson Tide' Central Texas Soaps 'Sandalwood' Shaving Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Central Texas Soaps 'Sandalwood' Aftershave This has been a fun month focusing on the OC razors in my den. I closed out the month using the GEM MMOC for four shaves and they were enjoyable. 3 passes today using the wonderfully scented CTS Sandalwood soap provided a comfortable and efficient finish with no mishaps or irritation. This aftershave has a thicker feel than other brands in my collection and really has no alcohol burn either. With aloe and witch hazel leading the ingredients list, this makes logical sense to me. Roll Tide!
Thanks, Gary! Good morning.. Thank you, Andrew! Wonderful everything, Clint! Congrats on the new hobby! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
