Thanksgiving theme may be more of a challenge. Limited props around the house as my wife is not a big fan of that holiday. Her feeling is that everyday we should be thankful. I really can’t argue with that.
Nice shave Clint! Welcome to the lathe owner's club! I look forward to seeing your work. You specially said "turning" which isn't something I've heard machinist say. So I'm guessing it's a wood lathe. Correct? You should buy a metal lathe too, and a knee mill, and a horizontal band saw, oh, and a plasma table. Everyone needs a plasma table. Thank you Evan. I did get a midi wood lathe. I plan to start out slowly and try to learn what I am doing. I am really drawn to all the funky resins so I hope to be able to eventually pour and make some nice pieces. I am already getting requests from the ladies for the wood and resin bowls and such. I am in no rush and just looking for another fun hobby.
October 31st Razor: Royal Shave Dovo with Kingswood scales Brush: @jtspartan Poculi Handle with Silvertip knot SS & AS: Razorock Son of Zeus Final shave of October with one of the razors I had before I joined 30DC. It's a carbon steel Dovo so what else can I say. It works well. I got a wonderful 3 pass shave with no blood or irritation. DFS for sure. I'm not sure how I feel about the Son of Zeus fragrance. It's nice for a change but not a daily scent. Looking forward to a No Rules November Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Got a plow for the yard truck this year Gary. Had enough of the snowblower after last year . But I will still have to shovel the step off . Just trying to figure out an approach angle to get truck up on walkway so I don't have to shovel it. My better half says I'm going to end up tearing up the lawn but I am prepared to worry about fixing lawn in spring ....when its "warm" again.
